Deleting Office 365 Cached Files

    You may find you have an issue opening a shared document within SharePoint or OneDrive, resulting in an error such as:

    "Sorry, we coudn't open 'filename and filepath here' "

    If so, you can try these steps which often resolve the issue:

    1. Close all MS Office files and programs
    2. Launch FILE EXPLORER
    3. Expand C:\Users[USER NAME]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\16.0\
      • If you don’t see the AppData folder, simply enable the viewing of hidden files
    4. Rename the folder OfficeFileCache
